ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: By return signing/emailing acceptance of this quotation, the customer is deemed to accept these terms and conditions: 1. PROGRESS PAYMENT Unless specified in writing to the contrary, progress payments and/or deposits are to be made by the customer to the window cleaner within (7) days of progress/deposit claims being submitted. As the price quoted is for a lump sum, then Leigh’s Window Cleaning will submit a deposit claim for the agreed upon amount, being 50% of quotation. No works to be started without deposit claim being payed by the customer. 2. CONFLICTING PROVISIONS: If these conditions are in conflict with any terms and conditions contained in any other document between the parties, then these terms and conditions shall prevail and take precedence over such conditions (a) In the event of any dispute between the customer and the Leighs Window Cleaning regarding the work carried out or the terms and conditions, then the parties must refer the matter to mediation in an attempt to resolve the dispute before commencing legal action. Notice must be given to Leighs Window Cleaning within 3 days of any complaints of faulty workmanship (otherwise overriding factors such as general weather conditions, but not limited to, can be the cause of any apparent fault). (b) If payment terms are not met, interest charges of 1.5% per month (18% annually) will be added to quoted amount on overdue invoices starting the day following the due date. GST - A Goods and Services Tax is applicable to this quotation. The customer is liable to pay this amount, as detailed on the quotation, to the window cleaner as part of the payment for works completed. This quotation is valid for one month and is subject to change. Additional site visit costs can be incurred and invoiced to relevant Owners Corp or individuals. Any concerns with quality of workmanship must be addressed with 24 hours of work completion. If any surfaces are found to be stained, removal of the stains can be quoted and handled at additional costs. Unless sighted & specified, the quote does not include the removal using chemicals or scrapers of paint, etc that may have occurred during construction, renovation or building maintenance works.
Cancellation – please advise us minimally 24 hours before work is scheduled. All cancellations within 24 hours will be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the service fee.
* If this appointment can not be completed due to no-one being available to let our cleaner into the site you will be charged with a 75% cancellation fee.
* If this appointment is cancelled within 48 business hours a 20% cancellation fee will apply.
* Cancellation requests must be made during business hours Monday to Friday.
* Sms cancellation requests will only be accepted during business hours Monday to Friday.
